United States / CERN Distributed Particle Physics Research This application demonstrates remote viewing and analysis of particle physics events. The application is the front end to an engineered object-oriented global system that incorporates Grid middleware for authentication and resource discovery, a distributed object database containing several terabytes of simulated events, and a component that enables queries issued by the front-end application to be matched to available computing resources in the system (the matchmaking service).
